Price Phillips is the Director of Research at the Hawthorn Group. In this role, he is responsible for leading strategic research initiatives, leveraging his analytical and political experience to inform proactive public and private strategies as well as deliver measurable client outcomes.
A native of Mid-Missouri, Price first arrived in Washington, D.C. as an undergraduate student. After completing an M.Sc. at the London School of Economics, Price began as a Researcher at the Public Policy and Management Institute (PPMI) within their highly regarded R&I Team. Primarily tasked with designing the methodologies for European Commission DG tenders on innovation policy, he worked on programs such as Horizon Europe, the largest R&I fund in the world, and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Report, the largest academic mobility program in the world. Beyond his recent professional work, Price has also worked for the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, the International Social Science Journal and Finabel. He has a wide array of interests, having published several articles on a variety of topics ranging from national security to religion.
Price maintains strong connections to both Missouri and the United Kingdom; although he now resides in Washington, D.C., he still remains an avid Newcastle United and Mizzou Athletics supporter.
